Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy created a stir at his concert in Denver, United States, on Wednesday night.
Naijaonpoint reports that the Grammy-award winning artiste asked a couple to leave for allegedly sleeping during his performance.
The incident occurred midway through his set when Burna Boy noticed the couple in the front row.
He stopped performing and asked the man to escort his girlfriend out of the venue.
Initially, the couple resisted, but the crowd urged them to leave, and they eventually exited.
Burna Boy continued his performance after they were gone.
He said: “When I stand up here [on the stage] and see you over there with your girl sleeping in the front of me, it pisses me the f**k up. So, please, take her the f**k home… Walahi I’m not performing another song till you go home.”
This is not the first time Burna Boy has removed fans from his shows.
Previously, he asked a male fan to leave for rushing the stage and hugging him, and he also asked another fan to exit for not dancing along during a performance.
In other news, Burna Boy, has made history as the first Nigerian artiste to earn five career Grammy nominations in album categories.
Naijaonpoint reports that Burna Boy reached a new milestone with his latest project, No Sign of Weakness (2025), which was nominated for Best Global Music Album at the upcoming 2025 Grammy Awards.
