Xiaomi is gearing up to launch another Disney-themed phone following their Hello Kitty and Disney variants of the CIVI 3 phones. This upcoming device will be a new addition to their CIVI series. While Xiaomi had introduced a “Disney Edition” with the Xiaomi CIVI 3 earlier, the upcoming model’s naming will be a little different this time.
Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro Disney Princess is coming with special theme, different camera watermarks, etc.
As per our findings on HyperOS‘s source code, Xiaomi CIVI 4 Pro Disney Princess Edition is on the way. CIVI 4 Pro was already unveiled on March 21, 2024; now, the “Disney Princess” variant will be introduced as well. As we don’t have an exact launch date, we can say it will be a surprise. The phone appears on the HyperOS codes with “chenfeng” codename. The device has “N9” internal model number.
If you are somewhat familiar with Xiaomi, you could predict that the upcoming phone will be a China-exclusive as it’s in the “Xiaomi CIVI” series. Bad news for Disney fans outside China, it will only be released in China again. What we know about Xiaomi’s future devices is that Xiaomi plans to release the standard CIVI 4 Pro (without the Disney theme) in India, but under a different name. It will be released as “Xiaomi 14 CIVI“. Note that the Disney variant will not come to India but just the regular one instead.
The design of the upcoming CIVI 4 Pro Disney Princess Edition is still a mystery. Like previously released special editions, the phone will have an overall design inspired by Disney characters. The device will come with a Disney-themed user interface pre-applied. Xiaomi has also added two different camera watermarks for the upcoming phone, named as “Snow White” and “Evil Queen”.
CIVI 4 Pro Disney Princess expected features
These are all the details we have about the upcoming Disney phone. We actually know the complete spec sheet of the phone as well. This is because Xiaomi already released the standard CIVI 4 Pro in China. Special editions share the same specs as the main device.
We can say that Xiaomi is preparing to introduce a powerful phone for Disney fans. CIVI 4 Pro boasts beefy specs. The upcoming CIVI 4 Pro features a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset. The front of the phone houses a gorgeous 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1236 x 2750 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. Additionally, the display’s maximum brightness is 3000 nits.
One of the best features of the Xiaomi CIVI series is the dual selfie cameras. The CIVI 4 Pro features a main selfie camera with a 26mm focal length and a wide-angle selfie camera with a 100˚ view. If you’re taking a selfie alone, you can use the main camera as it has less distortion, and for group selfies, you can use the wide-angle one. Both selfie cameras are 32 MP in resolution.
The rear camera setup of the upcoming phone features a triple camera setup, including a 50 MP f/1.6 main camera, a 50 MP f/2.0 2x telephoto camera, and a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture. Only the main camera has OIS. Another good side of the CIVI series is great is the design. The CIVI 4 Pro is only 7.5mm thick. A phone with a thin body feels great in hand certainly. Xiaomi usually puts super-fast charging and high-capacity batteries on its devices but the CIVI 4 Pro has a 4700 mAh battery and supports 67W wired charging.
