In a recent tweet, renowned Nigerian nightlife king Obi Cubana makes fun of his comrade Cubana Chief Priest, who is appearing in court today despite the EFCC having granted him N10M in bail.
The famous Cubana Chief Priest, a socialite, was at a nightclub on Victoria Island yesterday, May 1, 2024. This morning, he was brought before the court in relation to his case with the EFCC over Naira misuse.
Cubana Chief Priest was granted bail by the Federal High Court of Lagos State on April 17th, with two sureties each awarded N10 million.
He appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare on three charges pertaining to the misuse of the naira and violating the Central Bank Act of 2007 by misting and tampering with the country’s money during a social gathering.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and Cubana Chief Priest came to an agreement to settle an extrajudicial lawsuit alleging naira misuse against the socialite this morning, May 2, 2024, while in the court.
Cubana Chief Priest posted a video of himself leaving the court in style on his Instagram feed.
Cubana Chief Priest bemoans the stress he is now experiencing in ... and, as a result, advises readers to avoid situations that might involve the EFCC.
He wrote; “Court day !!! Problem No Good Oh, @officialefcc 🦅 No Dey Joke Oh !!!! Better Stay Away From Their Wahala, I’m SUre You Will Not Love To Pass Through This Kinda Stress I’m Passing Through.”

Obi Cubana however took to the comment section of ... to jokingly mock Cubana Chief Priest as regards his ordeal with EFCC.
According to Obi Cubana they were together at Vaniti, a high energy night club in Lagos last night only for Chief Priest to land in court this morning.
Obi Cubana wrote; “From Vaniti to court! Kai, ndi a ma ka ė si è stress mmadu walahi 🤣🤣🤣.”
