Job Details
- Assist in the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Provide support in organizing and delivering HSE training programs for employees.
- Assist in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and recommend corrective actions.
- Participate in emergency response drills and assist in developing emergency response plans.
- Support the maintenance of HSE records and documentation.
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities to enhance HSE knowledge and skills.
- Maximum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a glass processing company.
- Knowledge of HSE regulations and best practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to a positive safety culture.
- Proactive attitude towards identifying and addressing safety concerns.
- B.Sc./ HND in Engineering, Environmental Sciences or related course.
- Occupational Health & Safety qualification (HSE level 3) is an added advantage.
- NEBOSH Certificate, Membership of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria ISPON will be a plus.
