Job Description
- Create a positive and stimulating learning environment
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum standards.
- Utilize a variety of instructional methods and resources to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Assess student progress through quizzes, tests, and projects, and provide timely feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes critical thinking and discussion.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the history curriculum and contribute to school-wide initiatives.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in history education.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in History, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 0 – 2 years relevant work experience.
- Teaching certification or license
- Must reside in close proximity to the Sabon-Gari, Bwari axis.
- Previous teaching experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of historical content and the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
- Passion for education and child development.
