Nigerian singer and rapper Raoul John Njeng-Njeng, better known by his stage name, Skales, has narrated how he almost killed a girl while driving on Lekki-Epe expressway.
Describing the incident as the crãziest experience in his life, he revealed that a girl ran into the expressway, and he was driving in the speed lane and hit her. He disclosed that he saw her body fly over, and he thought she was gone.
Skales added that he parked and asked folks around for help to get her in his car and go to the hospital, and he was confused, thinking he had killed someone. The singer expressed gratitude that he got her to the hospital, and they confirmed she was okay.
He appealed to the government to do something about pedestrians crossing the expressway.
“Just had one of the crãziest experiences in my life while driving in LEKKI-EPE expressway. A little girl ran into the Gaddamn expressway, and I was driving on the speed lane and hit her. I was so scared! I saw her body fly over! I thought she was gone, so I parked and asked folks around for help to get her in my car and go to the hospital. I was so confused! Thinking I have killed someone. THANK YOU, JESUS WE GOT HER TO THE HOSPITAL THEY CONFIRMED. She’ll be okay! I paid the bills and handed everything else to her parents, including some money. The government needs to do something about pedestrians Crossing the expressway. Oh my gosh, what a day my life is really a movie! Fuck!!”.

The road accident caused the vehicle he boarded to go up in flames, and the actor, who still appeared stunned but relieved, shared a video of the mishap.
In the video, the actor kept appreciating God for sparing his life as he captured the scene showing how the vehicle continued to burn despite intervention by firefighters.
Gospel singer Dunsin Oyekan had also survived a car crash on the same road. It was gathered that a crew member suffered minor injuries, but everyone survived the accident.
In an Instagram post, the late Sammie Okposo celebrated the singer’s survival, saying the car crash could have claimed his life.
