Xperia 10 VI’s Geekbench listing reveals key specifications

Sony is all set to launch its new 2024 lineup of smartphones in the near future. The brand could introduce as many as these devices at first – the Xperia 1 VI, Xperia 5 VI, and the Xperia 10 VI. The Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI leaked many times in the past few weeks. Now, the Xperia 10 VI’s Geekbench listing has revealed some of its key specifications.

Xperia 10 VI’s Geekbench results reveal that it will offer the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC

In the Xperia 10 VI’s Geekbench listing, the motherboard’s name is “parrot”. It is the codename for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor. The SoC suggests that the Xperia 10 VI will be a mid-range offering.

Furthermore, the Xperia 10 VI’s Geekbench listing reveals that one of the variants of the device will have 8GB of RAM. The handset was spotted in the Geekbench database running Android 14. So we can expect it to ship with this Android version itself. The phone has managed to score 934 points on the single-core test and 2,816 points on the multi-core test. The test was conducted on Geekbench version 6.2.2.

The Xperia 10 VI could offer a mid-range specs

Sony will be offering the Xperia 10 VI as a mid-range offering. Recently, we exclusively brought you the renders of the smartphone, which revealed its design from all angles. The Xperia 10 VI will offer a tall display with minimal bezels on the sides, but a tad thick top & bottom bezel.

The device will have a vertically-placed dual primary camera module at the rear with an LED flash sitting between them. Notably, the handset will also come with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Details regarding the other specs of the Xperia 10 VI are not available at the moment. The phone will be released in Black, White, and Powder Blue color options. The company has confirmed that it will launch the Xperia 1 VI and 10 VI at an event on May 15.
