YouTube TV AM AH0

As of March 2023, YouTube TV announced its new Multiview feature. As the name implies, this new feature allows users to access four pre-selected live streams on their devices. YouTube TV’s Multiview feature was first introduced to smart TVs and streaming devices. However, Android users should also be ready to get the feature soon.

As 9to5Google reports, YouTube TV has confirmed Multiview’s rollout for Android devices a few months after the feature landed on iPhone and iPad and over a year after its initial rollout. Google noted that YouTube subscribers on Android are gradually receiving the feature on their devices, with more users in the queue to get it.

YouTube TV Multiview feature is finally coming to Android

It remains to be seen when all Android users globally can access the YouTube TV Multiview feature. The initial phase of rollout for Android devices could be region-specific. However, the feature will be rolled out to more markets in the coming weeks.

Moreover, getting the YouTube TV Multiview feature is a breeze. Just ensure you have the latest version of YouTube TV (8.17) installed on your device. Once it’s available on your device, you can effortlessly select four live streams, switch audio and captions between them, and even watch the streams in full screen view.

it’s important to note that the Multiview feature is an exclusive perk for YouTube TV subscribers. This means you gain access to this feature for a monthly fee of around $72.99. Currently, it’s tailored for sports content, but there’s potential for it to expand to other types of content in the future.

Meanwhile, the good thing about the feature is that it works on almost every device. And you don’t need to have “high-powered equipment” to watch streams in Multiview.

If you’re a YouTube TV subscriber, update your app to the latest version to see whether the Multiview feature has been rolled out to your device. If it’s not rolled out yet, don’t panic. It’s only a matter of time before all YouTube TV subscribers can access the Multiview feature on their Android devices.
