Renowned Nigerian medical practitioner and social media influencer, Chinonso Egemba, more commonly referred to as Aproko Doctor, has recounted his survival of a life-threatening incident involving gastrointestinal complications.
Participating in a trending topic on the social media platform X, Aproko Doctor engaged in a discussion titled “Tweeting because life didn’t end when”, where he detailed the account of a segment of his intestine perishing within him during his time as a medical student.
Recalling his perception of this event as potentially fatal, he ultimately underwent a surgical procedure to eliminate a tumor in his brain that posed a threat to his eyesight. He expressed appreciation towards his Maker for granting him a second chance at life.
His words: “Tweeting this because life did not end when my part of my intestine died inside me in medical school, thought that was the last issue I’d have only to have a growth removed from inside my brain that almost took my sight along with it. Life didn’t end. God did. I won.”
