Daniel Richtman reports that Mia Goth is set to play Lilith, a frequent thorn in the side of the Midnight Sons and, per a previous Richtman report, a living connection to Marvel’s “Eternals.” In most incarnations, Lilith is Dracula’s daughter; she’s the Queen of the Undead and a vampiress in her own right. Unlike her father, she is completely in control of her bloodlust and seeks to eliminate her sire by any means possible, her desire for revenge sparked by Dracula’s treatment of her mother. A loner by nature, she’s nonetheless become a key player on several Marvel superteams, like the Howling Commandos and SHIELD.
It sounds like the sort of character Goth might like to sink her teeth into — after all, she’s become a household name thanks to her work in the X trilogy of horror films and knows how to handle an axe. How well she will adjust to fangs remains to be seen. “Blade” is rumored to go before the cameras in late 2024, so audiences won’t have long to wait to find out how Lilith’s role in the film plays out.
