Daredevil: Born Again Set Photos Spoil Two Major Plot Points For MCU Revival

“Spider-Man 4” will reportedly see Daredevil and Luke Cage team up with the Web-Head in the MCU. The film will reportedly adapt the “Devil’s Reign” and “Gang War” storylines from the comics, which center around Mayor Wilson Fisk’s mission to eradicate vigilantes by hiring task forces and supervillains to do his bidding. The cops in the set photos might be Kingpin’s new anti-vigilante soldiers, even if their uniforms pay homage to Frank Castle, of all people.

If the rumors are true, “Daredevil: Born Again” could serve as a perfect precursor to the events of Spidey’s next escapade. “Spider-Man 4” is being touted as a street-level “Civil War,” and characters like Cage, Daredevil, and Punisher would undoubtedly fit into this type of movie. As such, it wouldn’t be surprising if this series sets the stage for what’s to come. 

Of course, everything is still being determined regarding Spidey’s next film. Sony and Marvel executives have supposedly been arguing over the direction of “Spider-Man 4,” with one party reportedly wanting a street story and the other demanding multiversal madness. However, these photos suggest that the movie will involve urban warfare, which will be incited on “Daredevil: Born Again.”
