Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu, also known as Cubana Chief Priest, a Nigerian businessman, and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) will settle a case over charges of Naira misuse.
Recall that in April, the EFCC charged Chief Priest with Naira mutilation, among other charges. Pascal appeared before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court in Lagos and pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira misuse. The celebrity bartender was granted N10 million bail.
Cubana shared a selfie of himself following his release, thanking people who had checked on him and bragging about his fame, claiming that money is water. Davido, Mercy Eke, IK Ogbonna, IsraelDMW, and others wrote messages for him.
In an update to his case, Kemi Filani learned that the businessman and the commission would settle out of court.
According to reports online, the court would hear the settlement report on the 5th of June, 2024.
