Though its theatrical run was cut short by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, The Invisible Man still managed to take in an impressive $144.5 million dollars at the box office against a budget of just $7 million, and while it’s been four years since its release, star Elisabeth Moss says that a sequel is closer than ever. Moss starred alongside Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Harriet Dyer, and Aldis Hodge in the film, which was based on the 1897 novel by H.G. Wells, and served as somewhat of a reboot of the 1933 movie of the same name. Directed by Leigh Whannell, The Invisible Man has gone on to be regarded by fans and critics as one of the best science fiction horror films in recent memory.
