In a recent development, Afrobeat artist Davido has taken to his Instagram story to hint at new music coming out soon.
He shared a screenshot of a recording with the title “Jesus is King.” He also captioned it,
“I’m over active”.
Netizens speculate that he’s hinting at a new music which will be dropping soon and this new music is speculated to be a diss track aimed at Wizkid. This is also because he had used Wizkid’s popular slogan, Jesus is King.
Recall that about a week ago, Kemi Filani had reported that Wizkid had broken his silence after shaking up the internet. He had taken to the Xplatform to share an embarrassing video of Davido apologizing on his knees to his alleged side chick. Now, following the onslaught of comments from netizens, the Afrobeat artist took to the Xplatform again to share a simple statement where he revealed Jesus is King.
Also recall that in subsequent times, he has been consistent with the statement and his core fans and netizens have even taken to social media to mimic him as they use the slogan in addressing the ongoing fan wars between Davido fans and Wizkid fans.
Now, also recall that Davido had dragged Wizkid after Wizkid shared that embarrassing clip of him. Davido took to the Xplatform to call out Wizkid for being a woman beater.
He also revealed that Wizkid had fallen off musically and that people did not know his songs anymore. Netizens are anticipating this new song which is allegedly set to drop soon from DavidO.
