There’s a great disturbance coming for those users of that all-powerful energy field in the Star Wars universe who are unbalanced in the ways of the Force. The Acolyte’s showrunner Leslye Headland is perpetuating the idea that one needs to be balanced with the Force in order to be protected by it. Headland cites an old quote attributed to Yoda from Star Wars: Episode V The Empire Strikes Back when the Jedi Master instructs young Luke Skywalker on Dagobah: “For my ally is the Force, and a powerful ally it is.” Headland expanded on the need for balance in an interview with Total Film magazine (per Screen Rant):
