While war films offer historical insight and give us a reason to reflect on the past, they can also be thrilling. This is particularly true of aerial-themed war films that manage to convey the chaos in the sky and the heroes who navigate it. To get even close to conveying the feeling of being in the air, a sense of speed and motion, is enthralling when brought to the screen.
