Superman fans dont always have to wait too long to see him in live-action. Unlike Batman, who only appears on the big screen (except for Batman 66), the Kryptonian has regularly appeared in TV shows and movies since debuting in Action Comics #1. So far, Superman TV shows have been received much better than movies. Most of Christopher Reeve and Henry Cavills movies were panned, but small-screen productions like Superman & Lois and Smallville are considered some of the greatest superhero shows ever made.
