The Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR is kicking off its global journey. The global variant of the phone is now available in the UK. The phone will set you back £1,599 if you’re interested.
The global Porsche Design HONOR Magic6 RSR model lands in its first market
HONOR says that users in the UK can grab the phone from honor.com/uk and the Porsche Design website. In addition to that, the company announced that the device is coming to other markets in Europe soon.
This phone did get announced in both China and Europe, and its availability in the UK signals the starts of the rollout of the phone’s global variant. This phone is basically a special variant of the HONOR Magic6 Pro.
The back side of the phone is entirely different compared to the HONOR Magic6 Pro
Yes, it does look and feel different, as the back side of the phone has been entirely changed. You’ll also find some software tidbits dedicated to Porsche Design here, but the specs are basically the same.
Having said that, this is a flagship smartphone, a truly powerful piece of tech. It has a 6.8-inch 2800 x 1280 LTPO OLED display with an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The theoretical peak brightness of that panel is 5,000 nits.
The phone is fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while it comes with 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM. UFS 4.0 flash storage is also included here, 1TB of it.
A large silicon-carbon battery is included, and 80W charging is supported
A 5,600mAh battery is included in the package too, and the phone supports 80W wired charging. 66W wireless charging is also supported here, and the same goes for reverse wireless charging. On top of that 5W reverse wired charging is also on offer.
A 50-megapixel main camera includes variable aperture, while a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit is also included. The third camera on the back is a 180-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with a 2.5x optical zoom.
Android 14 comes pre-installed on the device, along with MagicOS 8 skin on top of it. The phone is also water and dust resistant, has a titanium frame, and so on.
