NVIDIA’s GeForce NOW service is having a big week with improved support for the Steam Deck and a slate of new games to play in the cloud. It’s GeForce NOW’s first week of the new month and NVIDIA is kicking things off with several new game titles you can stream. This includes six new release titles and one popular Xbox title that’s become a fan-favorite. If you’re looking for something new to play right now, you can check out Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.
It’s the perfect game to play if you’re excited about Hellblade II and you want to get caught up. GeForce NOW supports both the Steam and Xbox versions of the game as well. As for new releases, players will be able to stream the Stormgate closed beta, Gray Zone Warfare, MotoGP 24, FOUNDRY, and INDIKA. All of which are new releases on Steam between April 30 and May 2. Lastly, there’s Orcs Must Die! 3, which is a new release on the Epic Games Store today. If none of these really strike your fancy, NVIDIA is looking to push out tons more games throughout the month. With a total of 24.
This includes the Epic Games Store version of Honkai: Star Rail. Subscribers have been asking for this for a while. So it’s a long time coming. The only downside is that NVIDIA hasn’t given out an exact date, however, it does confirm the game is coming in May. Other games coming this month include Ships At Sea on May 9. As well as Synergy on May 21, and Farmer’s Life among many others.
GeForce NOW will support gamepad navigation in the browser, including on Steam Deck
NVIDIA says it pushed out an update to GeForce NOW last week that enabled gamepad navigation for GeForce NOW in the browser. Today it confirms that this includes the Steam Deck’s gamepad controls. There’s also now a new beta installation method available for those who want to access GeForce NOW from Valve’s handheld.
To get this method of installation, simply click this link while on your Steam Deck and follow the instructions it contains. While it was possible to use GeForce NOW on Steam Deck before, it should be less of a hassle now. The new method of installation will download Chrome and configure it to enable gamepad support. After a few more tweaks, you can use the Steam Deck’s trackpad to control the mouse within the GeForce NOW web browser interface.
